Golf Cart Raffle Ticket Sale at Graham’s Golf Cart

Hello ODSC Members,

We want to let you know that we will be selling golf cart raffle tickets on:
 
Date:  Friday, 6/26 and Saturday, 6/27
  • Location:  Grahams Golf Carts on North Main Street
  • Time:   8:30am and 2:00pm each day

We will set up a tent in front of Grahams .  Hopefully it will be crowded as people rent carts for the holiday week.

Please support your club by stopping by and purchasing a few tickets.  All of our pre-planned events this year were cancelled, so we have plenty of tickets remaining. We will practice social distancing, so you won’t even need to leave your car.  Our event will be supported by radio advertising.

We are also soliciting help from anyone willing to sell tickets with us.  We know it will be a very hot day so any help you could give us would be appreciated. Please respond with the time you may be available. Ideally we are asking you to work a 2 hour shift. 8:30 /10:30 / 12:30.  Click on monicapalmieri@me.com to let me know what shift you can work.

ODSC Largest Fundraiser of the Year

Hello OD Shag Club Members,
 
We hope all is well with you and your families.  If anyone is interested in purchasing golf cart raffle tickets, the attached will give you a couple of different options. We have many tickets remaining to be sold so we are trying to make it as easy as possible.

If you live in North Myrtle Beach:  I can meet you at Graham’s to give you the tickets.  Please email me to arrange.

 If you are out of town: 

To buy tickets via email, follow the steps below:

  1.  Send an email to monicapalmieri@me.com with the information below.  I will respond to that email with my address so you can send me your check made payable to the OD Shag Club. 
  1. Complete the information below and enclose your check ($5.00 per ticket).
  1. Your Name: _____________________________________
  2. Name on all ticket stubs: ___________________________
  3. Your email address: _______________________________
  4. Your phone number: ______________________________
  5. # of Tickets you want: _____________________________

When your check is received, I will fill in the ticket stubs and take a picture of all of the stubs and email it to you.  We will not mail you the other half of the tickets.  We use the telephone number on the ticket to notify the winner, so do not need your half of the ticket to claim the prize. 

 

20200602 Presidents Letter

Hello ODSC Members,

Social distancing, masks, 6 feet apart, Covid 19, coronavirus, Wuhan virus, all of these words or phrases are words that we have heard constantly since March.  Unfortunately, they have also meant that we have not been able to get together and enjoy the dance we love and each other’s company.

At this time, a definitive decision has not been made for the June party, but we are trying to figure out a way to have the Charity Fun Run in July if we are allowed to have under the governor’s restrictions.

I would like to send out a big “hurrah” to Jim and Monica Palmieri.  They are still diligently trying to sell raffle tickets.  They sold almost 600 tickets this past weekend at Graham’s Golf Cart.  Thanks to all those who came out and purchased tickets and to those who helped sell tickets.  We still have a long way to go and if you could take a bundle of ten tickets and sell them, we would all be appreciative.  Contact Jim or Monica to help.

Another group that is still working hard is Ways and Means.  Wayne and Anita Baldwin and Sue Wehner along with their webmaster helper, Lou Martino have set up items to sell via our website.  Please support their efforts by going to the website and make a purchase.  These items make great gifts and when we do get back together, you will look spiffy in your new ODSC apparel. 

In closing, I hope that everyone is weathering this “storm” well.  Stay safe and hopefully this situation will improve soon.
